Six more ways to
sell bundles.

Build Your Own Bundle has taken $1.38m on this store. It is doing nearly all of the work on its own, and the numbers show exactly where the next dollar is. Every recommendation below is built from your own products, your own prices and your own order history.

Prepared by Eight for Mortadella Head, 31 August 2026. Nothing here is live yet.

What the numbers say

$1.38m
Build Your Own Bundle, 7,730 orders since December 2022. About 95% of all bundle revenue on this store.
$170
Median box over the last 12 months. The average is $188.94 across 5,291 orders.
3.7%
Share of boxes that reach $300, the only discount on the bundle. The other 96.3% never see it.
82.5%
Customers who order exactly once. The 17.5% who come back are 35.8% of the revenue.

Where every box lands

Build Your Own Bundle order values, last 12 months, 5,291 orders.

The minimum is $150 and free shipping starts at $150, so $150 is a magnet: 54.4% of boxes land within $25 of it. The next reward is $130 further on, and almost nobody makes the trip.

Order figures are from Kitenzo's own order records for this shop, excluding test orders, read on 31 August 2026. One honest caveat: our order table stores the shipping state as "Customer Anonymized", so we cannot split these orders by free shipping zone and cannot prove which of the two thresholds at $150 is doing the work. The clustering is certain, the cause is not. Product data, prices, photography, ratings and review counts are read live from mortadellaheadstore.com and Judge.me.

Change the bundle you already have

Put rungs on the ladder between $150 and $300

Right now a shopper gets one message, "your bundle total must be at least $150", and then silence. The 10% at $300 is written in the intro paragraph and nowhere else. There is no progress bar, no "you are $22 away", nothing.

Two small rewards in the gap turn a wall into a ladder. A free pint of marinara at $200 costs you one $8 pouch. Five percent at $250 costs $12.50. Both are cheaper than the 10% you already give away at $300, and both sit where people actually are.

54.4% of boxes are between $150 and $175. Another 20.1% stop between $175 and $200. Three quarters of your customers are parked in the first $50 of a $150 gap.
Tiered discounts, several tiers Free product action Progress bar and per tier text
Arithmetic, not a forecast: moving the median box from $170 to $195 across last year's 5,291 orders is $132,000 of extra revenue. Moving it $10 is $53,000.

Change the bundle you already have

Fill the second section. It is empty and shoppers can see it

Build Your Own Bundle has two sections. The second one has no products in it, so every shopper who scrolls past the trays is shown the words "No products to display". That is on the live page right now.

It is the perfect slot for a "finish the meal" step: sauce and dessert, offered after the trays are chosen rather than buried among them. Today dessert is fighting 20 lasagnas for attention, and it shows.

Tiramisu is in 14.0% of boxes. The sauce pouches are in 1.0% to 2.7%. These are the cheapest, highest margin things you sell and they are effectively invisible.
Sections, the empty one already exists Optional step, no minimum
Arithmetic: one $8 sauce pouch attached to a quarter of last year's 5,291 boxes is $10,600. One $30 tiramisu on an extra 10% of boxes is $15,900.

Finish the meal, after the trays

Added to a $170 box$170.00

Real products at their real prices. In the bundle this would be an optional second step with no minimum of its own.

3
Fix a bundle that is already published

The Combo Gift Box costs exactly what its parts cost

The Combo Gift Box is fixed at $95. The three trays inside it are $35, $30 and $30, which is $95. A shopper who does the sum finds no reason to buy the box, and it is the worst performer of your five published bundles by a distance.

Two honest fixes: drop the price so there is a real saving, or keep the price and put something extra in. Either one gives you a compare at price to show, which the other gift boxes already have.

Lifetime revenue: The Big Feast $30,704 (saves $38), Sunday Dinner $15,450 (saves $20), The Sunday Spread $8,415 (saves $30), Family Feast $5,060 (saves $40), The Combo Gift Box $1,805 (saves nothing).
Fixed price bundles Compare at price
The same fix applies to the other four. Every one of them is a fixed price with no compare at price set, so the saving a shopper is getting is invisible on all five gift boxes.

4
A new bundle

The freezer restock, a box that comes back on its own

Four out of five people who buy a box never buy another one. That is not a product problem: your reviews average 4.5 across 4,061 of them. It is a "nobody asked them to come back" problem.

The same builder, with "deliver it again every 4, 6 or 8 weeks" on the button. A freezer of trays empties on a predictable schedule, which is exactly the shape a repeating order wants.

Repeat customers are 17.5% of buyers but 35.8% of revenue. The 22 people who have bought six or more times have spent $35,795 between them.
Subscription options on a bundle Subscription discount Needs a subscriptions app connected on their store first
Arithmetic: every 1% of last year's one time buyers who take a six weekly box is 49 customers, 8 boxes a year, at the $170 median. That is $66,600 a year.

A new bundle, on a schedule

Turn the seasonal box back on, and keep the switch

Your Thanksgiving Bundle took $9,622 in twelve days in October 2025. A second version took another $2,250. Then both were switched off and never came back. That is nearly $12,000 in under a month from a bundle that got no merchandising at all.

We are not suggesting a Thanksgiving box in July. We are suggesting one seasonal slot, built once, switched on for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, the Super Bowl and Mother's Day, and switched off in between. Same URL, same page, new contents.

Four of your five currently published bundles have made less in their entire lifetime than the Thanksgiving Bundle made in twelve days.
Publish and unpublish a bundle Fixed price bundles We have no out of season demand data, so treat the slot as seasonal, not permanent

6
Change the bundle you already have

Ask how many people they are feeding, before anything else

Every tray comes in Classic and Family. Family is the better deal per head and almost nobody picks it, because the size is a small dropdown at the bottom of a card and the default is always Classic.

One question at the top, "how many are you feeding", and the grid answers in the right size. It is one extra tap for the shopper and it moves the average box without discounting anything.

84.2% of everything picked is a Classic tray and 7.5% is Family. Only 19.9% of boxes contain a single Family tray.
Bundle conditions and sections Variant selection on the card
Arithmetic: swapping one Classic tray for one Family tray on a five tray box takes it from $170 to $205, and the shopper pays less per head, not more. Across last year's 5,291 orders, one swap on a quarter of them is $46,000.

How many are you feeding

Five of your most picked trays. Feeds figures are Mortadella Head's own "Feeds 2 to 4" and "Feeds 6 to 8" claims, taken at the middle.

And five things you could change this week

None of these need a new bundle. They are settings and housekeeping on the bundle you already have.

The empty second section is showing "No products to display"

Every shopper sees it under the tray grid. Delete the section or fill it. See recommendation 2.

The bundle is still on the old template

Build Your Own Bundle runs on the legacy Showcase layout. Moving it to the visual editor is what unlocks most of the above, and it is the first job.

Visual editor

Where we would start

In this order, because each step makes the next one worth more.

First

Move it to the visual editor

Everything else needs it. Filters, progress, review badges and the add on step all live there. Nothing about the bundle's rules or its URL changes.

Then

The ladder and the add on step

Recommendations 1 and 2. Both are changes to a bundle that already takes $100k a month, so they compound immediately.

After that

The repeating box and the seasonal slot

Recommendations 4 and 5. New revenue rather than bigger baskets, and the seasonal one has already proved itself once.
